HOME SHOWGA

This past Sunday was the second music festival of many to come at Home Showga (Home Yoga), my dad's yoga studio in Mahwah, New Jersey. The area is home to some of today's greatest upcoming bands (Titus Andronicus, Vivian Girls, Liam the Younger, Real Estate, Sharks Roar, Zona Mexicana). In an effort to keep the local music scene alive I've started putting on shows of local bands. Here's the lineup from this past weekend:

I'm going down in the history books of Troll Toll for having the shortest time of that evening, along with accidentally turning on a huge flame on the stove when I hit the cymbal, BOOYAH!

Chernobyl is one of my favorite venues I've played at. Coolest people, best vibes, decked out art-installation/basement music room, cats prowling the terrain, all-night non-stop rocking, beer spitting, face painting, mmmmmmm.

DAY 1 - EPIC PHILLY ADVENTURE - PART 1

Wow, I really had no idea how awesome Philly is until today, and the videos to come will explain why. But this is just an introduction, below is the beginning of my trip: toothpaste, english breakfast, buffalo chicken and blue cheese, AMERICA!, loading the car, you get the idea. Some Blink 182 sing alongs, and some dangerous math-rock drum-along driving.



for the record, Best Buy gave me that New Found Glory CD for free when I bought this camera. It must be that good!
